Sometimes I have the privilege of photographing friends. This allows me to have much more intimate and personal photos. When I did holiday pictures for the Zeddies, I got to tap in this, along with the fact that they are geeks like me. :) It was a short shoot, but man was it fun!
So with as busy as I've been lately, I admit I've let the blog get a bit behind! I hope to make up for that in the next few weeks. I'll kick off the new year with baby Isabelle. Taken just before the holidays, we got to do both adorable traditional newborn shots and fun holiday shots. We are also lucky to have cute hats by my good friend Heather to use. Sometimes you get to work with a baby that makes taking amazing pictures easy! Baby Oliver was one such baby! Besides being absolutely adorable, he slept off and on the entire shoot, allowing us to capture some exceptionally sweet pictures for his parents!
Sometimes we are luckier then others when we go on site for a photo-shoot. This is especially true when working with newborns. Sometimes you get a fussy baby, nervous parents or too small area to set up in. And then there are times when you have all the best things happen to allow for photographic magic. A few weeks ago, I got to photograph the lovely Gypsy mare, Marvel and her 3 week old filly, Scarlett Witch. Currently located in Ohio, the mare is on a lease deal with a small farm.
