Stillwater Farms - The Blog

June 22 , 2013 09:43 AM

Located in the mountains of North Carolina, Stillwater Farms offers a picturesque place to breed Gypsy Horses.  Robin Visceglia bought the property about 10 years ago and has turned it into one of the premier Gypsy Farms.  From the beautiful location to the beautiful horses, it's truly a sight to behold.

We started out day in the fields with some of the mares and foals.  This is Summer (whom I have to admit I adore) and her 2013 colt, SWF Summer's Royal Blue, known as Royal!

Afterwards, we moved on to photographing some of her new mares.  We started with an amazing black mare, Lyla.  Trained to ride and drive, she's really something to see.

After Lyla, we moved on to another of her big black mares, Toy Teddy, known as Teddy.  She's a multipurpose mare, who's as beautiful as she is talented.  She has dressage training and is on her way to becoming the new farm lesson horse.y T

Once the mares were done, we moved on to the fillies.  We started with the newest addition to the herd, SWF Rubies Emeralds and Pearls, known as Emma.  This stunning filly was just under a month old and knew she was something special.

Next came the stunning Izzy, SWF Heaven's Isabella Blue Rose.  Between her crisp markings and her blue eye, she's going to make someone a very flashy filly.  She is for sale, so if she strikes your fancy, contact Robin for more information.

Lastly, we end with one of the most fun fillies I have photographed in quite a while.  She spent more time with her feet off the ground then anything.  Her energy and athleticism will make her one to watch in the future.  She is also for sale, so if you're looking for your next show horse, contact Robin for more information.
